Apparently, the next-generation Dodge Charger will be all-electric. It will have an all-new powertrain and a new look. Dodge officials are quiet about details, but we can expect to see an all-new vehicle sometime in the near future. Depending on what is available, it will also feature an all-wheel drive layout.
Dodge Charger Power Outputs
This all-electric version of the Dodge Charger will likely be built on the STLA large EV platform, one of four platforms that Stellantis is developing. It will also have power outputs that range from 201-442 horsepower. Interestingly, the Charger will reportedly have three trim levels, with 340, 440, and 440 SRT trim levels. The SRT trim level will feature an 800-volt SRT Banshee powertrain.
The SRT trim level will also include a Direct Connection (DC) eStage Kit. The kit will offer Stage 1 and Stage 2 upgrades, giving the Charger power level boosts.
Dodge Charger features
Dodge’s next Charger will feature a new powertrain, and it will be a hybrid of both electric and gasoline engines. However, the company will not reveal how it plans to power the vehicle, so it will be a closely guarded secret. The Charger will use an 800-volt electrical architecture, which will allow for faster charging rates and reduced heat during charging times.
Dodge’s next Charger will also feature a new, direct-drive transmission. The new transmission, called the eRupt, is a departure from the traditional gear-shifting system. Instead, it offers a shifting experience that mimics the way a V8 supercharged engine works. It also features distinctive shift points, as opposed to the conventional system.
Dodge Charger exterior
The new Charger will also feature a new exterior design. It will feature a pronounced shoulder-line and a tall spoiler at the rear. The front of the car will feature an R-Wing, which will channel air across the hood and enhance aerodynamics. It will also have a full-width air intake at the front.
The interior of the Charger Daytona SRT concept features an 8-by-3-inch heads-up display and a 12.3-inch central screen. It also features a wrap-around curved interior. It will also feature carbon-fiber side mirrors and pop-up door handles. The interior design is a blend of modern technology and retro design themes. There will also be a pistol-grip shift lever. The rear end of the Charger Daytona SRT will feature a classic Charger rear end.
Dodge Charger concept
The Charger Daytona SRT Concept will be displayed at the 2022 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. The next Charger is a hybrid of the old and the new, and we expect the next-generation model to be one of the most exciting models in the series.
During Dodge Speed Week in August, Dodge unveiled a new concept car: the Charger Daytona SRT Concept. The car, which is expected to be released in 2024, has a modern look that blends old and new technology. Moreover, the car will have a multi-speed transmission that will increase performance at higher speeds.
Dodge Charger exhaust system
It also has a powerful exhaust system, which will mimic a supercharged petrol-powered V8. The concept car also has a fighter-jet-style cap for the ignition switch and a large panoramic glass sunroof. In addition, the rear seats fold flat to provide more interior space.
The interior of the Charger Daytona SRT Concept is modern and includes a textured trim. There is also a large cargo area and a pistol-grip shift lever. In addition, the car’s exterior features an R-Wing, which is a front wing that channels air through the intakes and improves aerodynamics. The rear of the car has air ducts to help cool the car. It also features a tall spoiler at the back.
