It’s a new weekend in Destiny 2, which means it’s time to pay a visit to St-14 and enter the Trials of Osiris. A 3v3 showdown between Guardians, you’ll want to bring your best gear in this competitive mode.

The test weapons now carry the Alacrity Original Trat. It gives you increased aim assist, reload speed, stability, and range on your trial gun when you are the last surviving member of a fire team or run alone. You can also choose to swap in the Crucible core feature, One Quiet Moment, which greatly increases your gun’s reloaded speed when reloaded during combat.
As always, testing becomes available from Friday’s daily reset at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET until the weekly reset at the same time next Tuesday. During that time, you can also visit Xur to see what exotics it is selling. Be sure to pay a visit to St-14 in the Tower to pick up a trial card, which will dictate certain bonuses (such as whether you get bonus rewards at certain milestones or if damages will be waived).
Trial of Osiris is a weekend PvP mode that runs from a daily reset on Friday to a weekly reset on Tuesday, giving you four days to participate. Your goal in Trials is to achieve a “flawless” run for you and the other two players on your fire team, in which you win seven matches without a loss.
Go Flawless, and you’ll earn a trip to the lighthouse and some special rewards, including new skillful weapons. These have additional stat bonuses, making them one of the most coveted items you can get your hands on.
Thanks to a number of changes to the tests this year, though, entering the mode is a little easier than it was before. Trials of Osiris now features matchmaking, so you can jump into matches even if you don’t have a full team of three players to take on. Your Trial Passage, the card you buy from St-14 that gives you access to the mod and tracks your wins, no longer tracks your losses–so you can keep playing and earn rewards Even if you lose on the flawless run.
